HOW TO ENTER

  1. To be eligible to claim, individuals must purchase any pack of Riva Instant Cappuccino, Mocha or Latte flavoured coffee sachets from a participating store nationally between 01/10/09 and close of business on 31/03/10.
  2. To claim, individuals must then:
    • visit www.rivacoffee.com.au and follow the prompts to the competition entry page and register their details including but not limited to their full name, address and the full receipt number by 11.59pm AEST/AEDST (whichever is applicable) on the Wednesday of the week the qualifying purchase was made;
    • print out the pre-populated claim form;
    • attach a copy of their purchase receipt; and
    • send (at claimant's own cost) their pre-populated claim form and the copy of their purchase receipt to: “Riva Stake Your Claim” Promotion

      so that it is received within 14 calendar days of them registering their details on the promotional website.

      For example, if a claimant purchased a pack of Riva Instant Cappuccino, Mocha or Latte flavoured coffee sachets on 01/10/09, they must visit the promotional website to register their details by 11.59pm AEDST on 07/10/09, print out the pre-populated claim form and mail the claim form along with the copy of the purchase receipt to the Promoter, so that their claim is received by last mail on 21/10/09.

      Any claims that are registered on the promotional website after 11.59pm AEST/AEDST (whichever is applicable) on the Wednesday of the week the qualifying purchase was made will be declared invalid. Any claims that are received via mail more than 14 calendar days after the claim is registered online will be declared invalid.

      For the sake of clarity, if a claimant purchased a pack of Riva Instant Cappuccino, Mocha or Latte flavoured coffee sachets on a Wednesday, they must visit the promotional website to register their details by 11.59pm AEST/AEDST (whichever is applicable) on that same Wednesday night, in order to be eligible.

      The first 500 valid claims registered online each week of the promotional period will be eligible to receive a double movie pass valued at $33.00. Prices are correct at the time of printing.

      Claims are strictly limited to the first 500 valid claims registered on the promotional website each week.

      Once 500 valid claims have been registered online for a particular week, claims will no longer be open; however, individuals who have made a qualifying purchase for that week can still register their details to enter the second chance draw and the unclaimed prize draw. Successful claimants will NOT be entered into the second chance draw, but will be entered into the unclaimed prize draw.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes/gifts form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
  2. Entry is only open to Australian residents.
  3. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, participating retailers and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
  4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries/claims and entrants/claimants (including an entrant's/claimant's identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant/claimant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  5. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries/claims will be deemed invalid.
  6. Multiple entries/claims permitted, subject to the following: (a) only one entry/claim permitted per specified purchase requirement; (b) each entry/claim must be submitted in accordance with entry requirements; and (c) a maximum of three (3) entries/claims can be submitted per household per week.
  7. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant/claimant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant/claimant.
  8. Promotion commences on 01/10/09 and ends for final purchases at close of business on 31/03/10. Claims must be registered online by 11.59pm AEST/AEDST (whichever is applicable) on the Wednesday of the week the qualifying purchase was made and mailed to the Promoter within 14 calendar days of this online registration. For the purpose of this promotion, a week is 12:00am midnight AEST/AEDST (whichever is applicable) Thursday through to the following 11:59pm AEST/AEDST (whichever is applicable) Wednesday. Claims are strictly limited to the first 500 valid claims registered on the promotional website each week.

    Entries into the second chance draw close 11.59pm AEDST on 31/03/10. Final claims close last mail received on 14/04/10.

  9. The countdown timer featured on the promotional website will communicate the number of claims lodged online each week. Registrants are to be aware that the countdown clock may not be in real time and may experience a lag of several seconds. Registrants must also be aware that the countdown timer may change throughout the duration of their claim. In this respect, the countdown timer should be used as a guide only, an in some cases this may mean that all 500 claims have been registered by the time a registrant has completed their claim, although the countdown timer may have communicated otherwise at the time of initiating the claim.
  10. The second chance draw will take place at Message Media, Level 22, 385 Bourke Street, Melbourne VIC 3000 on 15/04/10 at 10am AEST.
  11. Winners will be notified by mail and/or email.
  12. The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. The first 500 valid claims received each week of the Promotional Period will each be awarded a double movie pass valued at $33.00.
  14. The first one hundred (100) valid entries drawn in the second chance draw will each win a double movie pass valued at $33.00.
  15. Each movie pass will remain valid for a period of six (6) months from the date of issue (as indicated on the movie pass) and must be used at a participating Greater Union, Village, Birch Carroll & Coyle and Event Cinemas. Movie passes are only redeemable Monday to Thursday (excluding school & public holidays). The movie passes are not redeemable Friday through to Sunday, and are not redeemable for Gold Class or other special seating or for special events or screenings.
  16. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the movie pass are not included. Any unused balance of the movie pass will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the movie pass is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified on the movie pass.
  17. If the winner of any prize/gift is under the age of 18 years, the prize/gift will be awarded to the winner's nominated parent or guardian.
  18. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner/claimant does not redeem the prize/gift or an element of the prize/gift by the time stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize/gift or that element of the prize/gift will be forfeited.
  19. If any prize/gift (or part of any prize/gift) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize/gift (or that part of the prize/gift) with a prize/gift to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  20. Total prize pool value in the limited offer element of this promotion is up to $429,000 and the total prize pool value for all drawn prizes is $3,300.
  21. Prizes/gifts, or any unused portion of a prize/gifts, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
  22. A draw for any unclaimed prizes/gifts from all entries/claims received, may take place on 29/07/10 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. Any winners of such a draw will be notified by mail and/or email.
  23. Entrants/claimants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's/claimant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner/successful claimant (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  24. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant/claimant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
  25. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant's/claimant's responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant/claimant to automatically enter/claim repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries/claims submitted by that entrant invalid.
  26. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter's control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize/gift claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize/gift value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner, entrant or claimant; or (f) use of a prize/gift.
  27. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize/gift suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry/claim is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant/claimant. Entrants/claimants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries/claims become the property of the Promoter.
